In this video, I share new foundational scientific discoveries borne from lived experience with schizophrenia as a trans mother. I demonstrate how structured video journaling serves as a powerful, practical tool to build metacognition and self-awareness — helping reduce symptoms, ease negative symptoms and anxiety, strengthen insight, and improve treatment adherence. I also present a compassionate, brain-based neurodevelopmental explanation of gender incongruence that affirms trans validity as a natural variation.
