Do you remember how sweet it felt—average cisgendered woman or trans masculine person—to not have an ounce of insecurity and encourage trans women to take part in sharing their femininity?
What happened? What happened?
What on Earth happened?
Why has our femininity become a question of dominance? Why has our need to be included become entitlement? Why has our beauty become something you must outshine superficially and dunk on?
Why did you do this to us when the country is forsaking us in writing?
What’s going on?
Where did my friends go?
Why does everyone hate me but males now?
Why does womanhood now seem to be a notion of superficial beauty again? Why is The Substance okay? What happened to releasing beauty standards? What happened to being women of heart and soul and spirit?
Why am I an enemy to women everywhere for existing? Why did the youngsters forsake the kindness they once had towards people like me?
Are you trying to teach me I’m privileged? Are you trying to hold onto something you thought I was coming for?
Has something gotten into your head?
